Multicultural Healing Practices, Power, and Privilege

In this talk, we will examine universal therapeutic qualities and techniques for healing; and how those methods may need to be addressed through a multicultural lens to explore the balance of power and privilege. We will identify the contribution of various multicultural healing practices in western psychology- and where Western psychology could be enhanced through the integration of more multicultural practices, philosophy, and rituals.
