Voyage to Vagus: How to Arouse Physiological Relaxation

The vagus nerve is beloved by humans for being the chief parasympathetic nerve that governs the relaxation response. A well-functioning vagus nerve is fundamental for the body’s ability to recover, repair, and heal. This seminar details the five tangible actions that promote a vagal dominant state called, “The 5P’s of the Parasympathetic Nervous System.”

In this seminar you will learn to uncover your body’s ability to “Turn ON your OFF switch,” and learn how “position, perspective, place, palpation, and pneumatic pacing” play a role in your health. The session includes an experiential tour of the 5 P’s including a novel breathwork exercise to hasten relaxation with the author of Body By Breath, founder of Yoga Tune Up, and Yoga Therapist, Jill Miller.
